Saint Benedict — San Benito
St Benedict of Nursia, the father of Western monasticism and patron of Europe, of students, and of those who work with their hands. His medal is one of the oldest in the Church.
The letters around the cross are the initials of a Latin prayer — Crux sacra sit mihi lux, “May the holy cross be my light.” Here they run around the band. Ships with a holy prayer card.
